Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (YSITC), (Armenian: ?????? ??????? ? ?????? ??????? ?????????), is a state university and higher education institution based in Yerevan, the capital Armenia.

History
The institute was established in 1944, as the Yerevan State Institute of Theatrical Arts. In 1952, it was renamed as the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Fine Arts.
In 1999, the institute has been restructured and became to be known as the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, with a major expansion in its specialties.
Faculties
The university is currently home to 3 faculties:
- Faculty of Theatre, with 3 sections:
- Acting Skill and directing,
- Choreography,
- Stage Movement and Vocal Training.
- Faculty of Cinema, TV and Animation, with 3 sections:
- Graphic Arts and Animation,
- Cinema and TV,
- Fine Arts and Animation.
- Faculty of Art History, Theory and Management, with 3 sections:
- Art History and Theory,
- Art Management and Cultural Policy,
- Humanities.
In 2014, the Part-time Faculty was founded for Distance education with the specialties of Choreography Directing, Cinematographic Art and Sociocultural Activity.
